History

1978

Rotoplas is born

1989

The first polyethylene water tank is launched

1995

Two product lines are sold through 3 thousand points-of-sale in Mexico, with 8 plants

History

1996

International expansion begins with a production plant in Guatemala.

1999 – 2001

The research and development center known as Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo (CID) is created and the portfolio of products is expanded.

2003

Aqua International Partners acquires a 20% share in Rotoplas, and the Tuboplus brand is launched.

History

2008

The ERP SAP system is introduced in all countries.

2009

The Rotoplas Bio line is launched, and the Shared Services Center is created.

2010

A group of shareholders acquires Aqua International Partners’ share

History

2013

School water fountains, water purifying plants, and wastewater treatment plants are launched.

2014

Grupo Rotoplas is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) under the ticker “AGUA”. Rotoplas participates in the US market for the first time ever.

With more than 35 years’ experience in the industry, Rotoplas is present in 12 countries and its portfolio includes 17 product lines. It has 24 production plants in operation in the Americas. Since December 10th, 2014, Grupo Rotoplas is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) under the ticker “AGUA”.
